In order to insure that the design standards for Glacier Hills contained in the Covenants are achieved, a submission of certain plans will be required. Plan submissions will also be required for significant revisions, alterations or additions to approved or existing improvements. Each Plan submission will require a) two (2) sets of plans containing the specific information described in Article III – Section IV of the Covenants, and b) an Application Form.
Written copies of the Covenants can be accessed under the “Documents” tab on this web site. Please see Article III and Article IV of the Covenants for further information regarding requirements for Plans submitted to the AERC, as well as the Protective Covenants and Development Guidelines related to building standards, restrictions, etc.

The Covenants stipulate the Plan submission for each new improvement or development and each significant revision, alteration, addition, or change of use shall also be accompanied by a payment of $200.00 as an incentive for submission of thorough and complete plans.
Lastly, please note the following relative to timing for submission and approval of Plans: Typically the AERC turns around/approves applications within a week, although the Covenants provide up to 30 days for the Committee to do its job. The 30-day period allows the Committee to manage around members being out of town, inclement weather impacting ability to assess the construction site, etc. No construction may begin until after the AERC has approved the Plan. Please factor this timing into your planning for approval of building projects.
